Mario Pacheco

Son of the famous guitarist António Pacheco, Mario is a master of the guitar and has composed many famous songs.
His first album was released in 1992 and titled Un Outro Olhar (Another Look) and has become a landmark in Portugal's folk music.
He has played on stage with probably every famous Fado singer there is,
going back to the likes of Amalia Rodrigues, Herminia Silva and Maria de Fe.
Mario founded the Clube De Fado in the Alfama district of Lisbon, where he often plays with some famous and some "up and coming" musicians,
in order to forever preserve the traditions of Fado.
